1. Scope and parental role
Kids Safe 360 is designed for a parent or guardian to configure supported restrictions on an Apple device. The parent is responsible for choosing suitable controls, maintaining the parent PIN and explaining device rules to the child where appropriate.
2. Family Controls and Screen Time authorization
Apple requires Family Controls or Screen Time authorization before supported restrictions can be applied. The operating system manages the authorization prompt and enforcement capabilities. Revoking authorization can stop or limit protection.
3. App and category selections
Selections made through Apple's family activity picker are represented by opaque tokens. These tokens identify a selected app, category or web domain to Apple's frameworks without giving Kids Safe 360 a readable list of a child's private activity. The app uses the tokens to configure the restrictions chosen by the parent.
4. Website restriction preferences
The app may retain selected website categories, reviewed site groups, Apple-managed adult-content filtering preferences and custom blocked hostnames. A custom hostname is information entered by the parent. Website Protection is not described as universal filtering across every browser, app, VPN, encrypted relay or network route.
5. Parent PIN
The parent PIN is used for local verification before protected settings or temporary-unlock controls are opened. Do not send a PIN to support. The website does not receive the PIN. The precise native storage and comparison method must be verified before release; this policy does not make an unsupported encryption claim.
6. Local storage, App Group and extensions
Restriction preferences, opaque selection tokens, entitlement state and temporary-unlock timing may be stored locally. A Screen Time extension may need to read shared settings through an App Group so the app and extension apply the same parent choices. App Group identifiers, shared keys and cleanup behaviour require native-project verification.
7. Temporary unlocking
When a parent starts the fifteen-minute unlock, the app stores enough local timing state to restore configured restrictions after the interval. The exact behaviour during restarts, time changes and authorization loss must be tested against the release build.
8. StoreKit and Premium access
If Premium products are configured, Apple processes the purchase and supplies transaction or entitlement information through StoreKit. Kids Safe 360 may use that information to decide which controls are available. This website does not claim that a paid product is currently for sale, and no separate developer purchase server is documented here.
9. Analytics, advertising and third parties
No analytics, advertising, cross-app tracking or third-party data broker is documented for Kids Safe 360 in this workspace. Apple provides Family Controls, Screen Time and StoreKit system services. The signed build and account-level configuration must be reviewed before publication to confirm that no additional service changes this statement.
10. Does information leave the device?
The website workspace documents no app account, cloud synchronization or developer backend for restriction settings, opaque tokens, custom hostnames or the parent PIN. StoreKit communicates with Apple when purchase features are used, and a support email leaves the device only when the user chooses to send it. Native network testing is still required before release.
11. Retention and deletion
Local settings remain until they are changed, reset or removed with the app, subject to operating-system backup and restore behaviour. Removing the app may not automatically undo every operating-system restriction, so a parent should use the app's available disable/reset flow before uninstalling. Support emails are retained only as needed to respond, meet security needs and comply with applicable obligations.
12. Children and privacy
The app is intended to help a parent configure device protections, not to create a child profile or collect a child's messages, photos, contacts or private content. Parents should avoid entering a child's personal information into custom labels, hostnames or support messages.
13. Your choices and rights
A parent can change selected restrictions, remove custom hostnames, end an unlock, revoke Screen Time authorization, reset supported local settings or uninstall the app. For support-held information, contact us to request access, correction or deletion where applicable.
